An event makes a month of waste in a day, and all of it appears in the two hours after everyone leaves. Roll-off containers take that pile off the property in one collection instead of a dozen trips.
Clearing up when the waste all arrives at once
The volume is the shock. Packaging, disposable serviceware, decorations, signage and the contents of a hundred small trash cans all land in the same window.
It is bulky and light, which is the easy part. You will run out of space long before weight is an issue, so this is a job sized on volume alone.
The container needs to be there before the event, not after. Tell us the date and the access route, because a site with people on it is a different delivery from an empty one.

Some things cannot go in any roll-off container. Paint, solvents, oils, chemicals, batteries, tires, asbestos and anything flammable all need separate disposal, and both federal and state rules govern where they end up. The EPA guidance on household hazardous waste sets out which materials count.
Choosing a size
Three containers cover this work. The 15 yard is 16ft by 7.5ft by 48in with a 1 ton allowance. The 20 yard is 16ft by 7.5ft by 6ft with 2 ton. The 30 yard is 20ft by 7.5ft by 6ft with 3 ton, and it is the one for new construction and commercial work.
Anything over the included allowance is charged per ton. Light bulky waste runs out of space first. Dense material like shingles, tile, concrete and dirt reaches the weight allowance long before the container looks full.
Getting to us from Dickerson Park Zoo
The yard is at 2211 W Division St on the north-west side of the city, 2.7 miles from Dickerson Park Zoo and about 7 minutes in normal traffic. Head out on West Norton Road, then North Kansas Expressway, then turn onto West Division Street.
You do not need to come to us. Deliveries run out to the property and the container is collected on your schedule. The drive matters only if you want to look at a container before you book, and you are welcome to.
