 Nope! As long as the delivery area is completely clear of obstacles (cars, low-hanging branches, power lines) and you’ve left detailed placement instructions when ordering, our driver can drop it off and pick it up without you needing to take time off work.

Debris must remain level with the top edges of the container. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely tarped or transported, and our drivers may be unable to haul the container away until the excess material is removed.

Our trucks need about 60 feet of straight clearance to back in and drop off the container, along with 23 feet of overhead clearance (watch out for low trees or power lines). The placement spot itself should be flat and paved or firmly packed dirt.

Heavy equipment and containers can scratch or mark surfaces. To protect your property, we recommend laying down wooden boards or plywood where the dumpster’s wheels will rest.

Heavy rain won’t affect our delivery or pickup schedule, but it can add extra weight to water-absorbing materials (like wood, carpet, drywall, or furniture).

To help protect you from potential weight overage fees, we recommend a few simple steps:

• Load water-retaining items last: If possible, wait until after the rain has passed to load absorbent materials so they don’t sit in the dumpster soaking up water.

• Cover the dumpster: Toss a tarp over the top secured with bungee cords when it’s raining or when you’re done for the day to keep the interior dry.
